This week was our break week, so we had a quick meeting followed up by some fun in Black Temple. Really didn’t discuss to much other then my concerns on level 85 raiding, and try to see what we could do to organize a little more in an attempt to get more guildies into heroics and raids.
The Blessed On The Web
So as you all know by now, since your reading this post, we have our website up and running. Some new requirements for promotion have been created in order to help organize the guild around the website, which will help us organize events better, be able to get members hooked up with each other for PvP, raiding, and all that other stuff that requires a little but to a lot of outside co-ordination. SO! What are the new rules? We’ll, since its not our intention to make the website forced on everyone we have decided that if you wish to rank up within the guild then you must make an account on the here on the site. You must check in on the site every so often, and how active of a community member you are in the game and on the site will now go towards us considering people for promotions. Promotions will still be given out in chunks at a time, usually every so many months. Current people ranked knight or higher will not loose their rank but will not be allowed to rank up any higher then they currently are until they make their website account. For the moment it is not a requirement for the general guild population if you wish to simply be in the guild and participate as a member only. Any changes to the policy will be told at the weekly guild meeting, and be written in a blog post here out lining the policy change further. So make an account, help us organize the guild a little bit more so we can have healthy growth in the right direction this year

The Weekly Raider
From what I can tell, people seem to be gearing up a relatively similar rate, so it seems for the moment that we’ll be having good chunks of guildies joining us in raids every week as time goes on. I guess gearing a healer is a lot faster
. I am in no rush, we got plenty of time to get people geared and raiding. With the new min item level for guild raiding being 340, we’ll have a severe cut back amount of guildies attending raids initially, but it should return to normal and then exceed previous number eventually. This min item level is there so that we can make sure the people who are geared have a fair shot of being able to down bosses and complete raids. Once you have the min item level of 340 we welcome to you to come every Saturday night!
Since this was our break week we didn’t do an official guild raid, but instead had a few members head into Black Temple for some fun. All in all we wiped a lot but did manage to down a few bosses with our rag-tag crew of 3 level 85s a 3 level 70-73s. The week’s meeting name comes from a humorous quote from the evening, which had us all laughing hysterically. What the quote is I won’t say now. Perhaps we can get John to get us the screen shot, but you can ask anyone there, its just not something I’d write in a blog post
.
